2009 has been an amazing year on many levels, even with its challenges and disappointments, there is much to be hopeful for. The old structures are dying and a new paradigm is emerging. There is an evolutionary impulse pushing us forward. The next couple of years are crucial to evolution of our species and planet.
Be the Light Be the One promotes the message of Oneness : a simple but radical idea. All life is connected, evolving and sacred. It has been said that a planet without vision, the people will perish.

- AWAKEN TO ONE ALLIANCE: NEW WEBSITE & VIDEO SERVES AS A CATALYST FOR SPIRITUAL & SOCIAL CHANGE
- Washington, D.C. (November 1, 2009) – The Awaken to One Alliance, a non-profit, non-religious organization based in Washington, D.C. is launching its new website, www.awakento1.org. The organization and website has been created to serve as a catalyst for spiritual and social change. Darrell Johnson, the founder of the Awaken to One Alliance (Ato1) states “We believe that by initiating spiritual and social dialogue with a conscious understanding and recognition that we are all interconnected spiritual beings, we can positively affect change and create a call to action for an awakening of our true selves. This conscious recognition will result in a catharsis of social change that can and will benefit all mankind.” The Awaken to One Alliance has also released a new video as part of its launch outreach efforts entitled “One” – Awaken to One Video. This video is posted on the Ato1 website as well as YouTube with music composed by Darrell Johnson.
The Ato1 website will serve as a forum for spiritual and social discourse with blogs and articles from many diverse perspectives. It is also a central repository for spiritual, health related, creative, and environmentally conscious information that will be helpful to people from all walks of life. As the name implies, alliances are very important, and Ato1 looks to partner with other like-minded organizations whose core mission is to benefit and uplift the world. We are happy to provide a forum for people to discover the many good works being done by both individuals and organizations throughout the world. Darrell Johnson says, “Our world has been struggling for so long to overcome the problems of poverty, crime, and stunted economic opportunity. This is driven in large part by an overwhelming sense of greed, corruption and fear generated from a misdirected notion of separateness and divisiveness between our fellow man. In truth, we are all connected; we are all one. When we awaken to this realization, positive change is inevitable.” It is with this in mind that the Awaken to One Alliance was formed.
